• Salish Kootenai College would like to announce an exciting new educational opportunity for Native American high school students soon to be offered at the college.

  • Starting in August 2017, SKC will be operating its new STEM Academy (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) in which junior and senior Native American and descendant students will be able to attend the college and earn dual enrollment credits applicable toward high school diplomas and college degrees.

  • The academy is designed in collaboration with the local school districts of the Flathead Reservation to meet the needs of our local students.

  • Funded by a grant from the National Institutes of Health, enrollment in the Academy is offered at no cost to students or their families – ALL tuition, books and fees will be paid by the grant.
